La Cacatúa Lodge

Cacatua Lodge Holland Hotels Costa Rica

La Cacatúa Lodge  is a small romantic lodge situated at one of the most beautiful spots of southern Costa Rica. The lodge is in the mountains at a 10 minutes drive from the nice villages of Uvita and Bahia Ballena (Whale Bay). From our lodge you can make a wonderful hike to have a fantastic view on the ”Whale’s Tail”, to continue to beautiful waterfalls.

Our lodge has a very beautiful organic tropical garden, where our rooms and studios are situated. The garden is a mix of tropical fruit trees, plants, flowers and bushes. Therefore lots of birds and butterflies are attracted to come to our garden, but also other animals such as sloths, monkeys ant eaters, armadillos and iguanas.

In the surroundings you can see and do a lot, for the relaxed as well as the active tourist, such as birdwatching, hiking, horseback riding, scuba diving, snorkeling, ultralight flying, canopy, rafting etc. etc. Relaxing on one of the many beaches or in one of our hammocks at the pool with jacuzzi is of course also possible.

La Cacatúa Lodge is situated at a 10 minutes drive from the village of Uvita, in south western Costa Rica. You will find the lodge in the middle of nature/jungle, without any unnatural sounds, so a fine place to relax for our guests.
